Anze Kopitar signs 7-year, $47.6 million contract extension

The Kings have signed Anze Kopitar to a 7-year, $47.6 million contract extension.
He is without question the Kings' primary offensive threat and someone well worth tying up for the next seven seasons. Look for Kopitar to register approximately 80 points in 2008-09.

Great signing, and it really isn't all that expensive in comparison to some other players. He has a very high ceiling and if he reaches it then this will look like one of the ebst deals in Kings history. I think he can become a top 5-10 player within the next few years.
