Guys you need to see the promotional night that the Admirals are having!
I posted the link in the NHL forum but am to lazy to find it and paste it in here...good thing is the last thing I copied were the actual promotions.
• All fans who are graduates of a DARE program (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) can get into the game for just $2 by bringing their DARE graduation certificate to the Admirals' office or the Bradley Center box office.
• Anyone with the name Michael, Phelps, Mary Jane, Cheech, Chong, Weed (Wied) or anyone who has won an Olympic Gold Medal can also get their ticket for only $2.
• The team is giving away a weed wacker from National Ace Hardware, signed by the Admirals.
• If the team scores with 4:20 -- a number that's synonymous with pot culture -- on the clock in any period, one fan will win a season ticket for the following season.
• The team is providing a document shredder outside of section 225 for fans to destroy their own incriminating, Phelps-like photos.
I laughed when I saw that. The Admirals have some pretty cool promotions. I gotta get to one of their games once.
It's weird that Sheets owns a portion of the team. I also never knew Gord Ash owned part of it too.
When do individual tickets go on sale?
Ben, Gord and Mark himself are the majority owners. You'll see the Brewers pimping the Admirals during the season. Can't image the Admirals staying in Milwaukee much longer, no one attends the games.
Still think the Ape would win, 700 times stronger than a human with thumbs. The Bear would crap himself and run away. In a cage match, once the Ape got ahold of Smokey, forget about it.
Hall, or platoon at 3rd again this year?
Why not move Hardy to 3rd and Escobar to SS? Makes sense doesn't it?

I knew Sheets and Attanasio had stakes in the team but wasn't aware of Ash.
Brewers.comIndividual tickets to 2009 Brewers home games will go on sale Feb. 28 at 9 a.m. CT, the team announced Monday while unveiling its promotional schedule.
For the third straight year, the Brewers will host an "Arctic Tailgate Party" for those fans who brave the elements to buy their tickets at the Miller Park box office. A very limited number of Opening Day tickets are being reserved for in-person sales that day.
Those who choose to skip the lines can also purchase tickets online or via telephone beginning that morning. The team will also sell prepaid parking passes for all 81 home games.
^Thanks
I'll be up at 9am to get tickets tomorrow.
Well that was a waste of my time. All the Cubs/Crew games were sold out.
Of course. Thats how it always is.
i managed to get some dece braun bobble head tickets, don't know if it sold out though.
Yeah, but this is the first year they didn't even offer the games. Usually if you get on line right when the go onsale you can at least get crappy seats. Before the virtual waiting rooms even opened up it already said that only Standing Room's and Single Tickets were available for the Cubs games. They sold them all in the ticket packages I guess.
