Compared to what he used to be like, his swing has come a long way. He still extends his arms to much and has a loop in his swing but he is improving and has time to fix these mechanical errors. Anderson on the other hand is one of the top hitting prospects in all of baseball, not really a fair comparison.
I don't care how ugly a swing looks as long as it doesn't hurt him, and he produces.

FWIW quiksilver, Place was drafted out of high school, and at age 17. He's still really young.
Yeah, I know I said college in my first post, I meant HS. I believe he still has the potential to be one of our better prospects in a few years, if not by this time next year so I have full faith in what the Red Sox are doing with him.
Almanzar reminds me of Hanley.
