Wake Watch

Cam Wake is currently chasing the CFL single season sack record that has stood for over 20 years. James 'Quick' Parker recorded a remarkable 26.5 sacks in only 16 games in 1984. Although Parker accomplished the feat in two less games than Wake has, it is widely thought that it was easier to accumulate sacks when 1/2 sacks were recorded, thus evening out the playing field.

Wake trails Parker through 13 games as Parker had 24 sacks to Wakes 18, but Wake is coming on strong with nine sacks in his last four games and is looking at making a serious run at the record.
