CHICAGO (AP) -Patrick Sharp and Andrew Ladd scored two goals each and the Chicago Blackhawks rallied from a three-goal deficit after one period for a 4-3 preseason victory over the Minnesota Wild on Friday night.

Ladd's second goal, at 6:48 of the third period, snapped a 3-all tie.

Cristobal Huet made his debut with the Blackhawks (2-0) and finished with 28 saves. Huet signed a four-year, $22.5 million free-agent contract with Chicago in July.

Stephane Veilleux, James Sheppard and Petr Kalus scored for the Wild (1-1).

Minnesota's Josh Harding made 29 saves.

Veilleux scored on a rebound just 36 seconds into the game. Sheppard made it 2-0 at 9:58 on a rebound from the slot during a power play.

Kalus' power-play goal extended the lead to 3-0 with 5:47 left in the first. The puck rolled off Kalus' stick as he skated to the net and slid past Huet.

Ladd and Sharp scored on rebounds in the second to cut it to 3-2.

Sharp's second goal tied it 3-3 at 1:55 of the third. He scored from the right of the crease after taking a cross-ice pass from Craig Adams.

    Wild 2 - Buffalo 1

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -Andrew Brunette's shootout goal gave the Minnesota Wild a 2-1 preseason win over the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday night.

Brunette, who tied the game with a goal with 2:57 left in regulation, scored on the Wild's fourth attempt on Sabres goalie Patrick Lalime.

Lalime stopped 18-of-19 shots and looked as though he was on his way to a shutout win until Brunette's centering pass deflected off the stick of defenseman Jaroslav Spacek and into the net.

Jochen Hecht scored the lone goal for the Sabres.

Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom, who had 28 saves, was splendid in overtime as the Sabres outshot Minnesota 5-1 in the extra session.

Lalime, signed as a free agent over the summer and expected to start about 30 games this year as a backup to Ryan Miller, looked sharp when tested.

Hecht's goal came just 13 seconds into the second period after Clarke MacArthur's hit on Marc-Andre Bergeron caused a giveaway behind the Minnesota net.

The puck squirted to Jason Pominville, who found Hecht unattended in the slot. Backstrom stopped his first shot but Hecht converted the rebound.

Minnesota was 1-for-4 on the power play, while Buffalo went 0-for-5.
