Yes I've listened to them before and they're not far from garbage because they're in the garbage. I'm throwing all their **** away. I've had enough of PSD's entertainment forum. MichaelJordan#1

I also don't agree with Ice Cube solo albums being better than all of Wu's solo albums combined. It's closer than you think. Death Certificate and AmeriKKKas Most Wanted are definition of classic, but both these albums are up there with LS. This is coming from one of the biggest NWA and Ice Cube supporters. And people do show respect to NWA, but the thing is that they're going against another legendary group that's influenced hip hop just as much. This is honestly a toss up, and who ever wins I wouldn't be too upset about it.
If you look back at my post I said Liquid Sword was a good album. I didn't imply it was borderline. The only problem with most of their solo stuff is unless you are a hardcore Wu fan its hit and miss in my opinion. Almost all their solo albums have a few gems here and there, but they are not albums you can just put in and let it play all the way through. I don't dislike the Wu or anything like that. I actually bought the casette of their debut the week it came out. Also, the Wu has been influential to alot of artists, but not nearly as many as NWA. Early to mid 90's, every band whether it was east or west coast listed NWA as one of their main influences. I'm not saying I think your wrong, I'm just saying we kinda view things in a different light.

It really isn't. The hardcore Wu fans like Iron Flag and all the affiliate mixtapes. You look at any rap site or any rap fan and I guarantee you if they know they **** they will have all of the 93-97 Wu solo records as some of their favorites, NWA didn't have that kind of influence/solo success. Other than Ice Cube and Dr Dre there isn't anyone to talk about in NWA, DJ Yella dirrects B level porno movies for christs sakes. Eazy had ONE good record, everything else was crap and only for the hardcore NWA fans, and he only had one good record because a) Ice Cube and DOC wrote the whole thing and Dr Dre produced it. Ice Cube had 3 great records and one ok album and then a bunch of crap, Dr Dre has alot of classic produced albums but he doesn't have the resume of a DJ Premier, and its arguable wether or not he's better than RZA, and there's 8 other rappers in the Wu-Tang, 5 of which released classic solo records (and honestly, if you didn't like all 5-6 of their classic solo records, then you simply arent that big of a rap fan).

I guess agree to disagree. I have been listening to rap since the 80's and in that time I have never heard a single person say that the Wu is even remotely close to being as influential as NWA before I came to this site. In fact, other than Liquid Swords I have never heard a single person say a Wu solo album was a classic before I came to this site. Like I said, I think the Wu is great. I think NWA was legendary in the biz.

I couldn't agree more with you, I don't see how Wu is better then NWA in any way.
