Obama is god shut the **** up. Democrats never sling mud or lie or slander or rewrite history. Only republicans do.
"Compromise, hell! That's what has happened to us all down the line -- and that's the very cause of our woes. If freedom is right and tyranny is wrong, why should those who believe in freedom treat it as if it were a roll of bologna to be bartered a slice at a time?"
RIP Jesse Helms
obama is not stupid enough to pick hilary and hilary isnt dumb enough to join him. I guarantee she is pulling for mccain so she can run in 2012. And isnt it funny how people used to bash bush because they thought cheney was running the country..... well obama lacks even more expierence than bush.... and biden has been is DC for half his life
Thanks for seeing the light BB.Republicans have been more effective at this then Dem's for sometime now. I am sick and tired of Dem's trying to play the moral highground by saying they wont mud sling and then only do it to a minimum. This is war for the highest office on earth. I say bring out the big guns and bash the hell out of Republicans. IMO use whatever works on idiot America.
Obama is not a brown skinned anti-war socialist who gives away free healthcare..... You're confusing him with Jesus!
So what do you call claiming that Mccain is owned by big oil, and will look to hurt the poor to fill the pockets of oil execs?I am sick and tired of Dem's trying to play the moral highground by saying they wont mud sling and then only do it to a minimum.
What do you call the implication that the Republicans are racist?
What do you call the class warfare that paints Republicans as hating the poor?
Is that moral high ground to you?
I am sick and tired of democrats trying to have it both ways. Taking cheap shots at the Republicans, but then acting completely mortified when anyone says anything negative about Obama, regardless of context.
See. You call it "idiot America" but how do you know you aren't one of the idiots?I say bring out the big guns and bash the hell out of Republicans. IMO use whatever works on idiot America.

To bring it back to the topic of Biden....
I think in the long run, this hurts Obama. He would have been way better off picking Hillary.
I assume the pick was made because of Biden's foreign policy experience.....but doesn't Biden agree a lot with John Mccain on a lot of foreign policy issues?
Have you seen the McCain commercial about this? Biden and McCain do have stuff they agree on and they have respect for each other

Powell has pretty much said he won't endorse either candidate... But he's hinted at Obama support.
I read a piece on cnn.com by Gergen (something like "Obama needs a game changer") where he suggested it could be a good idea for Obama to at least partially assemble a group of likely cabinet members in order to assuage the reservations of independent voters who are worried about him being inexperienced by showing he has a strong team put together. If he did that, and he could land at least one name like Powell (if not Powell himself) as part of that group, I think it would be a pretty major asset.
