being right is still better than being wrong, correct? or did I miss something?
maybe it should of said we didn't know he was right

but the truth is until troops were there finding nothing he had not been proven right

Point being he did not know about WMD's or any of that other stuff until AFTER we were there

so going proved he was right I guess you could say

We were going regardless of him wanting us to go or not
he was outnumbered on that one

easy on the conspiracy theories Mel Gibson. Do you really think they could have gotten rid of absolutely everything? Really? You don't think one vial or drum would have turned up by now? Give me a break with this crap.

IT WAS WRONG! ACCEPT IT! ADMIT IT!

Obama called it from the beginning, if only we had him back then to keep us out of this mess instead of following an idiot that is still worshiped by a delusional 27%.

there were plenty of others, like the list of Chafee and the dems that Doc put up that didn't buy the force fed intelligence that turned out to be wrong, or what scott mcclelland and colin powell have already told us that is was a crusade to war no matter what. Just because a bunch of people went along with something doesn't make it right. History decides who is right and wrong, and it's easy to see who's on which side of that argument now, don't deny it or spin it.

obama and many others called for diplomacy and more sanctions. which were proved to be working as we invaded a very weakened country. don't act like he stood up and was just anti war, he said to go forward with diplomacy and sanctions, which was the right move then and the right move proven now.

I don't get how you guys can argue against proven facts. Go ask Colin Powell who was right and who was wrong.

they sure did, almost all have admitted it as well and paid a political price, as they should. Poor judgement does not deserve a place in authority.

Republicans and Democrats again this week, this time at a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee on the estimated 500 rockets and artillery shells containing degraded mustard gas or sarin nerve agent.
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...063001528.html

here is UNCLASSIFIED info you must not have heard about...

    http://www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/...classified.pdf

The United Nations located and destroyed large quantities of Iraqi WMD throughout the 1990s in spite of persistent Iraqi obstruction.
On May 2, 2004 a shell containing mustard gas, was found in the middle of street west of Baghdad. The Iraq Survey Group investigation reported that it had been previously "stored improperly", and thus the gas was "ineffective" as a useful chemical agent. [82]

On May 16, 2004 a 152 mm artillery shell was used as an improvised bomb.("Iraq's Chemical Warfare Program Annex F". Retrieved on 2005-06-29.) The shell exploded and two U.S. soldiers were treated for minor exposure to a nerve agent (nausea and dilated pupils).

On May 18 it was reported by U.S. Department of Defense intelligence officials that tests showed the two-chambered shell contained the chemical agent sarin, the shell being "likely" to have contained three to four liters of the substance (in the form of its two unmixed precursor chemicals prior to the aforementioned explosion that had not effectively mixed them

Appearing on MSNBC's Hardball in June 2004, Paul Wolfowitz insisted the weapons picture was without change, since Iraq "had a lot of time to move stuff, a lot of time to hide stuff."[4] Three weeks later, Lord Butler of Brockwell said upon conclusion of the Butler Review, "Iraq is a very big place, there is a lot of sand. ... It is impractical to dig up the whole of Iraq, but for somebody to say 'we are absolutely certain that there is nothing there' would be a very rash and unfounded thing to say, in our judgment

MANY more people will vote against a republican vs voting FOR obama... so basically people who are excited that obama is gonna win is kind of like being excited that you found out your friends only like you for your looks or money...

    very shallow
obama writes most of his speeches. I would also include on your list
    1. He's the opposite of bush and the conservatives on environment, education, health care.
    2. The economy is not good under conservative republican leadership and policy
    3. general disapproval of the bush administration.

the economy will be the biggest one, especially with another round of quarterly government and corporate reports to be issued just in time for the election.

    [QUOTE=Doc Fluty;6285812]

ok i went to the site you listed.. and it says:

and thats it... it talks about he then went on and "fought to help Illinois veterans get the disability pay they were promised" and "he traveled to Russia with Republican Dick Lugar to begin a new generation of non-proliferation efforts designed to find and secure deadly weapons around the world."

but thats it.. no more laws, no bills no nothing.. he helped passed one bill with tom coburn and then "fought" and "traveled" lol
I'd hate to see this discussion get left behind. I gave you a link and quotes with more accomplishments, any thoughts? Or are you going to stick by your clip of the supporter caught off guard by Chris Matthews' question? Got any spin?

when were they provided the opportunity to? How are you going to run with this one? that since they didn't vote to cut funding and be assailed for not supporting the troops that they aren't accomplishing their cause? Actually the goal now is to gain control of the legislative and executive branches to get it done. Looks like that plan is well on its way.

last post you *****ed about not finding one vial now i show you a report where they found over 500 weapons munitions and how troops were injured in 2004 from a chemical bomb...

yet still you wont even acknowledge that there COULD BE REASON to SUSPECT iraq of having wmds in 2001

sure after 7 years of hindsight one could change their story... but given saddams history and the fact he kept out inspectors.. it isnt too far to imagine saddam having them
