Preseason ACC 1st Team and POY

The votes from the 64 members of the media who attended the ACC football kickoff in Greensboro, Ga., are finally in, and Clemson went 1, 2, 3 in first-place votes for the ACC's preseason Player of the Year.

    Cullen Harper -- 34
    James Davis -- 16
    C.J. Spiller -- 4

Here's a look at the entire team:

    Offense

    QB -- Cullen Harper, Clemson
RB -- Josh Adams, Wake Forest
    RB -- James Davis, Clemson
    WR -- Aaron Kelly, Clemson
WR -- Hakeem Nicks, North Carolina
TE -- Ryan Purvis, Boston College
T -- Andrew Gardner, Georgia Tech
    T -- Eugene Monroe, Virginia
G -- Rodney Hudson, Florida State
G -- Sergio Render, Virginia Tech
    C -- Edwin Williams, Maryland

    Defense

DE -- Everette Brown, Florida State
DE -- Michael Johnson, Georgia Tech
DT -- Ron Brace, Boston College
DT -- Vance Walker, Georgia Tech
LB -- Aaron Curry, Wake Forest
    LB -- Clint Sintim, Virginia
LB -- Brian Toal, Boston College
CB -- Victor Harris, Virginia Tech
CB -- Alphonso Smith, Wake Forest
    S -- Michael Hamlin, Clemson
S -- Myron Rolle, Florida State

    Specialists

PK -- Sam Swank, Wake Forest
P -- Graham Gano, Florida State
RET -- Brandon Tate, North Carolina
    -ESPN

Thats a very solid team right there. I'm a little disappointed that both Brace and BJ Raji werent selected as the ACC DTs. 2 years ago when he played i'm pretty sure that Raji was 1st or 2nd team ACC. Cullen Harper being POY doesn't surprise me at all

CJ Spiller finished 3rd in the Preseason POY, yet he didnt make it as one of the 2 RB's?

I didn't understand that either. That bum from Wake Forest isn't better than him, he shouldn't have beaten him out on the All-ACC team.

That's because they don't deserve it. Really, to make a real All-ACC roster all they have to do is combine Clemson and VT.

Talent wise, Miami has top of the line players in the ACC, but the thing is...they havent proven anything to this point.

    They will though...they will.

    Ummm...

Why isn't the second best receiver in the country on there?

While I do agree that Heyward Bey is very underrated, there is no way he is the 2nd best receiver in the country.

You're definitely right, but as a complete homer, i say i disagree.
