IIF is expected to make a ruling on Alexander Radulov's contract by mid-August

The International Ice Hockey Federation is expected to make a ruling on Alexander Radulov's contract by mid-August.
The IIHF's ruling will big a big factor in determining whether Radulov plays in Russia or not next season. Radulov signed a contract with Salavat Yulaev of the new Continental Hockey League despite having an existing contract with the Nashville Predators. This would be a violation of the verbal agreement reached by the KHL and NHL not to poach players under contract, but the KHL says Radulov's deal was finalized before that agreement.

The Nashville Predators are hoping that the IIHF will rule by the end of the week on Alexander Radulov.
Radulov signed a contract with Salavat Yulaev Ufa of the KHL a month ago, despite already having a contract with the Predators for the upcoming season. Radulov is a talented 22-year-old who has a big future in the NHL, but it looks like Radulov really wants to return to Russia. Should he be forced to return to the NHL, he won't be happy and his point total may suffer. He is not worth taking a chance on in fantasy drafts, unless you can get him very late.
