I think it's been about a year or 7 now.

2. Who is your favorite Rocket of all time?

That must be either Hakeem or Yao in his prime, making Dwight Howard look like a kid in the paint.

3. How did you become a Rockets fan?

Ever since I started watching NBA games a few years ago, the Rockets always had this thing I liked about them for some reason, espicially that tall Chinese guy in the paint. Started following them more and more, watching back old games (with Hakeem the Dream) and been a Rockets fan ever since. Hope I can visit some games in real life some day soon.

4. What is your favorite moment in the history of the Rockets?

As I didn't personally attend the Championship years with Hakeem, for me it's probably the 22 win-streak.

Discussing bball, see other people's opinions on basketball related stuff.

hi everybody...i am a rocket from italy...my favourite player is hakeem the dream but i also loved t-mac...i became a fan because my parets gave me, for my birthday, a shirt number 34 of hakeem so i start to support the team.

my favourite moment was the game against sas with the 13 points of t-mac because that evening i was outside with some friends and when i came back home i look on tv what is on air on italian nba channel...spurs @ rockets...so i saw the entire match (in italy starts at 3.30 am, if i remember it good)!

i spend some minutes everiday on psd...in my opinion this is a good forum and i haven't advices at the moment

-been a fan since 95. first time i watch an NBA game was in the NBA finals. i'm 25 now, been a fan for 17 years.

-The Dream

-i was amazed how Hakeem played and move for a big guy. best post player of all time.

Came for Lin, stayed for Harden. Really liking the hard work and energy of this team and happy to be a part of these boards.

I wish the game threads were a bit more popular here as it makes watching the games more interesting but otherwise I really respect nearly everyones opinions who posts here regularly

Since about '90 when I learned to play a basketball, and I went to see a Rockets game with college buddies.

The Greatest Rocket of all time of course, Hakeem! (followed by Yao and Battier).

Watching Hakeem doing his patented 3-fake-fadeaway from the baseline.

Second of back-to-back championships.

Just enjoy this year, a first round playoff win would be phenomenal, just taking a top seed to a final game would be good enough. Rockets need another player who fits the system. They need to avoid becoming the Suns of the 2000's (all O, no D).
