Offense - Peyton Manning. Only modern era QB that calls his own plays. Just carries that offense year to year, even when the Colts defense lets them down. Too good.

Defense - I would probably go with Bob Sanders. The guy can just plain play and he's a leader.

Hate to pick two Colts players, as I'm not a Colts fan, but it is what it is. Guys like Mario Williams, Patrick Willis, Adrian Peterson, etc. can play. I just don't see them as leaders at this point. It's not to say they won't be either, so no need to go there.

I'd honestly build my team around Aaron Rodgers. Best young quarterback. He'll be great for a long time.

You can't or shouldn't build a franchise around LT. Yeah, he's been great, but he's getting up there in RB years and probably only realistically has 3-4 more years of solid production before he wears down.

I'd probably go with AP or Gore on O, Willis or Merriman on D.

It may be just me, but I wouldn't start a franchise with anyone over 27 or so.

WTF Patrick Willis isnt even the best young LB in the game.

    Patrick Willis
    16 STARTS
    174 Tackles (135 Solo) 4 Sacks 5 Pass Defended, 2 FF
Most Tackles in 1 game: 20

    David Harris
    9 STARTS
    127 Tackles (90 Solo) 5 Sacks, 3 Pass Defended, 2 FF
Most Tackles in 1 game: 24

If David Harris played all year he would have been Defensive ROY without a doubt, just look at the numbers..He was stuck behind Vilma, who was very good himself, for the first 7 Games.

Back to the question..I'd say Brady but I like the Big Ben idea as well.
