Raiders WR Javon Walker Wants to Retire

Raiders WR Javon Walker told the Raiders Thursday he intended to retire and offered to return his $11 million signing bonus.

Owner Al Davis reportedly persuaded him to remain with the team. Walker has struggled with his performance in camp so far, but we never expected something this drastic. Walker's knee doesn't appear to be getting better, and he obviously has some mental hurdles to clear after a trying offseason. With red flags popping up all over, the troubled receiver should remain on your "do not draft" list for now.

Seems as if he has some mental issues to overcome...depression appears to be one of them.

That's if he retires, but imagine the other receivers he could've gotten instead of Walker.

Are you talking about all those receivers that the Eagles are still going to land (i.e. Randy Moss, Chad Johnson, Anquan Boldin, Roy Williams, etc, etc.)? They're going to be really dangerous when they trade Lito Sheppard and a wet napkin for 4 legitimate #1 receivers....
