I believe that the Red Wings will challenge for the best record ever in the NHL. What ever Mike Babcock decides to do with Franzen, Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Holmstrum, Hossa, and Samuellson will be a big win. The Wings will be very deep and a very hard team to stop offensively and defensively. If Osgood plays the same way he did last year, the wings have a chance to go back-to-back. I think they will end the year with 65 win, 10 losses, and 7 OT losses, which means they will finish with 137 [points. I'm just being very optimistic.

    GO WINGS!!!

109 points ... I'm not going to figure out a record.

Just so long as they beat the Hawks at Wrigley on New Years day ... that and the Stanley Cup.
