Adam Pardy and the Calgary Flames have agreed on a one-year, two-way contract.
Pardy was a sixth-round draft choice of the Calgary Flames back in the 2004 draft. So far he has yet to suit up for the Flames in his professional career although he travelled with the team last year for two weeks when their defensive corps was thin. Last season Pardy scored five goals and added 13 assists in 65 games with the AHL's Quad City Flames. He was also named to Canada's roster for the AHL All-Star game last year. The Flames' depth chart on the blue-line is already deep so Pardy will likely start the upcoming season in the minors.
