    Thrashers sign Jason Williams!

    A-Channel, in London, is reporting that Jason Williams has signed a one-year, $2.2 million deal with the Atlanta Thrashers.

    Williams recorded 13 goals and 36 points in 43 games with the Blackhawks last season. He was forced to miss 35 contests due to a sports hernia. A healthy campaign and a move to Atlanta should help his fantasy value, especially if he sees top line duty with Thrashers' star Ilya Kovalchuk. Stay tuned for an official announcement.
