my band Palomar is on a comp with Wilco, Bright Eyes ......

the song we contributed was written strictly for this comp. REM was originally suppose to be on it as well but i guess Warner Bros didn't believe in the cause because they did not allow them a song after all. Thanks for checking it out.

You got some great company in there mate, congrats on making it to the compilation. You guys have a myspace page I could check some of your stuff out? Cause I'm writing at a music site over here and I'm always looking for fresh things to write on so I would like to hear your sound.

Congrats. Are you sure the name Palomar is not copywritten? The guitar player Grant Fitch from the band Paw released a album under that band name called "A World Without Horses". I think it was released in 1997. Just checking. Congrats again on your success.

It was the town of a book the singer was reading at the moment. It sounded gender neutral unlike most bands with women in them and it was simple to say and remember.

Cool stuff man, keep up the good work. I was in a band for 7 years (drums as well). Just take every opportunity you get to get your music out there..... we went out and did everything that came our way.... whether it was bands wanting to take us on tour, battle of the bands, fundraisers, and eventually did 14 dates on the Warped Tour. GL dude.
