Doubt it.
Closed societies always fail. And by becoming truly capitalist, China's economy will be hurt anyway.
I'm really feeling India will be more important in 20-30 years than China.

Your kidding me? Is India building a massive naval force? Have the largest army in the world and developed space weapons? Is India turning into a industrial power house that can build two coal-power power plants a month? You are more worry about a muslim radical leader in Iran then China it would seem. India? You are way off base. A closed societies don't have trade surplus and have another superpower (us) in debt to it. Who do you think is friends with all our enemies in the middle east and also building closer relation with Russia. Do close societies have joint miltary excerises with Russian? Every american presidents since Reagen have suck up to them. Damn! I wish we were a closed society.

China's leaders are rational. You are more worry about a muslim radical leader in Iran then China it would seem.
No you don't. And on the foreign policy front, China is not closed. They've opened up in that regard.Damn! I wish we were a closed society.

Fellas, I was joking about the closed society part. There are traces of capitalist in the Chinese society. Hong Kong is still the capitalist economical power house in that region. There is a growing middle class in China that are buying cars and washing machines. What both communist superpowers, Russia and China, are realizing is that people need more than just dogma to inspire them to work hard for the state, they need that folding money. China is doing real good in the free trade world. We are in debt to them to the tune of billions and billions of dollars. Yeah I would said they are catching on fast. China was a closed society before Nixon went there in the late 60s. Maybe I don't understand what you mean by closed society. The rant is over and have lefted the building.Don't underestimate the Chinese. They have the money, the numbers and the will to be the top dog in twenty years. They will make the changes they need to make to get there.

Because their society is based on sharia law
Because they're crazy muslim
Because they're testing missles and trying to get nukes to use against the West
Because they deny the Holocaust
Because they want to wipe Israel off the map
Because they oppress women
Because they kill gays
Because they discriminate against people of the Bahá'í Faith

Rational in the sense that they won't attack first, since it would insure their total destruction. People and countries believe in all kind of crazy things to my way of thinking. They also do evil things to themselves. But as long as they don't swing on me, I could care less. The Pentagon is down playing Iran missile testing today.
A country seeped in radical islam isn't worried about survival

Way to completely write off the massive amount of moderate Muslims in Iran.
Ahmadinejad has a pretty strong degree of support when he takes tough posturing stances against the U.S. because he looks like a tough guy sticking up for a small country with poor defenses against a giant, powerful oppressor.
And sure, there is a significant radical Islamist segment of the population there that probably supports more aggression.
But if you think the majority of middle class Iranians, most of whom are young and tend to be much more moderate than their elders, actually want to see him stage a missile attack against Israel, you're crazy.

No I realize that. I actually feel bad for moderate iranians, because they're ****ed either way. Their leadership isn't with them, and the US hates their government and thus punishes the country.

yeah they are ****ed either way.
Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government, owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to dissolve the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day.-Theodore Roosevelt
There's no country on Earth that would tolerate missiles raining down on its citizens from outside its borders.
