    Hamilton vs. Sizemore

So if you could have your pick of the two who would you rather have? Josh Hamilton, Grady Sizemore?

Like the comparison but I'd go with Hamilton.

However, I wouldn't mind having Sizemore either considering the Twins wouldn't have to face him again.

Sizemore, he can hit for power, steal bases and can even rob a HR in the field.

So can Hamilton, Sizemore has just been doing it a bit longer.

I'd take Hamilton, and there isn't a specific baseball related reason why. He's just awesome in every aspect, plus I love his personal life story, and plus he's just a bad *** (Grady is not).

Right now, Hamilton seems to be the real deal, so I'll go with him.

Sizemore is the superior defensive player, whereas Hamilton is the better hitter. Sizemore runs better too though. This is a very tight one.

I am an Indians fan, so I'm sure you guys will call me biased....But these two are so close, but I am going with Sizemore -- solely because he is younger.

Josh can't steal bases like Grady can.

    Which makes nearly no difference.

I'm not sure that Hamilton could put up 500-600 at bats over a full season without breaking down physically. Playing CF is extremely demanding, and he hasn't played a full season yet.

Until he shows that he can go injury free for a full year, I gotta go with Sizemore.

I'm sure Hamilton's stats are better (other than the OBP, where Sizemore takes a huge advantage thanks to his plate discipline). But I'd rather go with the durable option, because I know Sizemore can play through a full season relatively injury free.

    Edit: Sizemore: 267/372/534 138 OPS+ vs Hamilton: 308/364/554 144 OPS+. That's pretty damn close.

Vic Mackey: You better figure out how much you hate me. And how you're going to deal with that. 'Cause I'm not going anywhere.

This sums up every sports interview, ever.
