    NFL Re-Draft - 2nd round NFC playoff matchup:#1 Lions vs. #4 Eagles

The NFL Re-Draft is a game in which each team tries to build the best possible team through a draft format. Along the way they were able to make trades, but they also had to stay under the salary cap of 73 mil. The draft consisted of 25 rounds.

These GM's worked hard to build the best team possible so please take the voting seriously

    #1 Detroit Lions

Offense- My Offense can be very Dominating on both sides. Tom Brady throwing to Patten, Williams, Johnson and Pope reminds me of the guys he won 3 superbowls with, No BIG names, just young talent with a vet(Patten Now)leading the way. Also I have Adrian Peterson to run the ball which shall have to keep defenses honest and open up the field for all my recievers. My Offensive line will open the holes for AP and give Brady more then enough time as I think I have one of the best Squads in this game.
    Offense:
    QB: Tom Brady-117.2RATE, 4,806Yds, 50TDS
    HB: Adrian Peterson-1341Rush Yds,12TDS, 5.7 AVG
HB: Najeh Davenport-683 Total yds, 7TDS
    WR: David Patten-54 REC, 729 Yds, 3TDS
    WR: Roydell Williams-55 REC, 719 Yds, 4TDS
    WR: Bryant Johnson-46 REC, 528 Yds, 2TDS
    TE: Leonard Pope-23 REC,238 Yds, 5TDS
LT: Jason Peters- Pro Bowl LT
LG: Arron Sears- Big and Agile LG
C: Casey Wiegmann- Perfect fit to lead this group, Vet has seen it all
    RG: Shawn Andrews-Pro Bowl RG
    RT: Kevin Shaffer- Underrated RT

Defense-Tampa 2- My front 4 will bring enough pressure to hurry the Passer along with stoping the run with Big Grady in the middle. Mark Anderson will be a beast with Williams,Smith and Grady on the line with him. Dhani Jones and Karlos Dansby are 2 vets that can bring the blitz along with play the ball in coverage.Dansby is very underrated. DiGiorgio is going to be a Star IMO sooner then later,112 tackles as a rookie in Buffalo. My secondary is young at the corner spot but they will bring the lumber when you catch the ball and are sure tacklers so there wont be too much YAC given up. Revis and Finnegan are young studs and will be great with the security of 2 Veteren Safeties in Chavous and Smith behind them.
    Defense:
    LE: Mark Anderson 31Tkls, 5SACKS, 1FF
DT: Kevin Williams 38Tkls, 3SACKS, 2INTs for TDS
    DT: Grady Jackson-29Tkls,1SACK
RE: Justin Smith-78Tkls, 2SACKS, Will concentrate on the passer for me
    LOLB: Dhani Jones-90Tkls, 2FF, 1 Sack
MLB: John DiGiorgio- 113 Tkls, 2 Sacks
    ROLB: Karlos Dansby-99Tkls,4FF,3.5 Sacks
    CB: Darrelle Revis-87Tkls, 3INTS, 1FF, 17PD
    CB: Cortland Finnegan-95Tkls, 1 INT,1FF, 13 PD
    FS: Dwight Smith-51Tkls, 4INTS,1FF, 9 PD
    SS: Corey Chavous-74Tkls, 3.5 Sacks,1FF, 3 PD
Special Teams- Rian Lindell is a very accurate kicker, he will be kicking alot of XP's form my squad. Steve Weatherford has a good leg but is more suited for directional kicking, I see him being more of a water boy with my Offense.
    Special Teams:
    K: Rian Lindell-24/27FGs, 24/24Xpts,96Points for the Bills
    P: Steve Weatherford-63Punts, 43.8AVG, 20 inside the 20
    KR: Najeh Davenport

    PR: Darrelle Revis

    Write-Up:
Adrian Peterson will run behind a top 3 Oline in this game. Yes I know about the Eagles DT's but I have the Beef up front on the line to counter them. Brady will read the Defense and call his usual game. If Mckenzie or Vasher Bite on a route, then its gone for Six as Johnson and Williams will break off for the deep ball due to one of the Safeties having to be in the box to slow down the run game. Patten and Pope working the middle will be good enough to run the score up. LB's will not be able to cover Pope's 6'8 stature in the Red Zone.

Defensively my guys up front will control the line of scrimmage as the eagles Oline isnt that good. They will have their hands full with Grady and Kevin and that should open lanes for DiGiorgio, Jones and Dansby to make plays in the backfield. Revis will take care of Galloway and be there step by step on deep routes. I will be surprised if Mcdonald can get off the line with the Bigger Finnegan on him. Smith will play CF and chavous will come up to help as well as blitz Brees to hurry him up.

This matchup is gonna be decided by the Trenches and I got his front 4 on D and I dont see his Oline keping my guys from controling the line.
    #4 Philadelphia Eagles

    LT- Khalif Barnes
    LG- Davin Joseph
    C- Eric Ghiaciuc
    RG- Deuce Lutui
    RT- Jon Stinchcomb

    DEFENSE:

Lions easily. I didn't even think the Eagles should've won their first game.

I like the Lions. While I think the defenses are fairly comparable, the Lions offense has too many dimensions not to be the favorite to score more points on their opponents D.

Lions take this one, they have two of the best offensive linemen in the game in jason peters and shawn andrews, they have AP who had one of the more memorable rookie seasons in recent memory and lead by arguably the best player in the game in Tom Brady... i dont see them loseing this one
