lewis is well on the decline

id say tatupu, willis had a good year but just like peterson one year does not make u the best

tatupu is a 3 time in 3 year pro bowler and one time all pro

    one year cant top that

So is Shawne Merriman, but he is not a MLB. I Like Ray Lewis right now but I think EJ Henderson needs to start getting some more respect around the league because he is a beast.

ok lets go by the top 10 avg stats for each major category, tackles, sacks, forced fumbles, and interception. i only took true middle linebackers because thats the title of the post.

    tackles: top 10-126.5 BU-123
    sacks: 3.5 5
    forced fumbles: 1.8 0
    interceptions: 2.6 5

with tackles and forced fumbles being the only categories he isnt above average in being tackles(123) is still good considering its the 3rd most tackles in his 9 year career. forced fumbles is something to work on but nobodies perfect. all this being statisically the best MLB in the leauge with his "career jeopardizing" neck/back arthritis. sure he is going to slow down but what LB doesnt after 9 years?

ps he has almost better stats than ray lewis in a shorter career...

Its very close between the following:

    Patrick Willis
    Brian Urlacher
    Ray Lewis
    Lofa Tatupu

I am giving the slightest edge to Urlacher, due to just dominance, plain and simple.

Urlacher. Although it helps he has a great defense around him.

Urlacher without a doubt, he runs the Bears Offense. He is the Peyton Manning of defense IMO.

Patrick Willis is a stud, I alswo want to throw a Dark Horse guy out there that I think will be a Urlacher type in a couple of years. John DiGiorgio from Buffalo, I like him as well. The NEW Breed of MLB's is arriving soon

Chris Houston's world, you just living in it
