    Hmmmmmm.

This is a tough one, but I think I'm going to go with A-Rod. Really just a wild guess, though.

I look up the numbers and they are really close, A-Rod is a power hitter who gets around 170-190 hits per year usually while Jeter gets usually 200-210 hits.
I think Jeter will end up with more hits.

Jeter might break down quicker then A-rod. Yeahthis really is a toss up though.

Exactly what I thought. If they get same amount of ABs, I'd bet on Arod

Btw both are on pace for 3600-4000 hits if they keep playing until they are 42(A-Rod just signed a 10 years deal this season).

I highly doubt Jeter will be able to play on a good team into his 40s.

What make you think Jeter will leave the Yankees?

I don't. I think he'll just retire when he's not good enough anymore.

The Yankees are the top team in baseball year in and year out. There will be a time when Jeter just isn't good enough to be their starting SS anymore.

I mean offensively as well. I don't see him being good enough anywhere as an everyday starter. I just don't see any way he makes it to 40.

I'll say A-Rod because I think he'll be better, longer.

I'd have to assume A-Rod. I just don't see Jeter hanging around into his 40s.
