I don't understand what makes you so confident that you will beat these teams, and that you should beat these other teams. Clemson has done nothing but disappoint this season and Willy Korn is not going to change that. I realize that he is a more mobile QB but i doubt it makes that much more of a difference. Boston College has one of the best front 7's in the country so you shouldn't underestimate them

South Carolina is not a terrible team. Sure they have 2 losses but they were against 2 very good teams and they only lost by 1 TD. Don't underestimate any SEC team because they are all very, very good.
I would never deny that Clemson is talented because i know they are, but i don't think a QB change is what they need. Cullen Harper is a very good QB and IMO is your best chance to win. I think what needs to change is the coaching staff because they just aren't getting it done.

Beating Wofford by only 10? That's bad...
Oh, I don't doubt that Cullen Harper is a very good QB. I don't think he's the central problem. Rob Spence should've been fired at the press when the announced Korn as the starter. I think letting Korn start a very winnable game against GT could fire up the team, especially if he falls flat on his face and Cullen comes in late in the game and leads Clemson to a win. That's how QBs can start a hot streak.

Not saying that South Carolina doesn't have bad games because they do. They aren't the most consistent team in the country but i think they are talented enough to win every single week.
At the same time i do agree that Clemson needs a spark, and maybe Willy Korn will be that spark. Maybe being benched will light a spark under Cullen Harper but i don't really think he is going to be able to do much without an O-Line or running game.
I just don't know what to expect from Clemson at this point. I could see them winning out and at the same time i could see them losing 3 or 4 more games. Except for when they play BC i love watching them play so i hope they pull things together...somewhat

Well, South Carolina is basically Clemson lite, except for their defense is supposed to be better than their offense. Both teams are expected to be good, and both choke. I'm hoping that one way or the other a spark will be lit under the team. I love Willy Korn, but I wish Cullen would keep his job because I think he can be a good NFL player at some point, but he won't get a chance sitting on the bench at Clemson.

I wouldn't be worried about Cullen Harper or his NFL career at this point. He showed everyone what he could do last year and i'm sure plenty of NFL teams will want him. Look at guys like Matt Cassel who never even started a game, or Willie Parker who was a 3rd string RB at UNC.
If he goes to the combine and does a good job, then nobody will even remember how bad of a year Clemson has had

Honestly, its a mess. I don't remember a time where Clemson was a mess like this. Korn has been thrown in because he's a huge fan favorite, and hopefully he does good, for his sake, Spence's sake, and Bowden's sake. I don't think anything can save Spence's job, and Tammy would probably have to win all but maybe one game of the remaining ones to keep his.

I agree with you. I think the best thing would be to start new with a totally different coaching staff. Clemson has been disappointing for the past couple of years and i was surprised Bowden still had his job
I'm actually really mad right now. I was trying to get you mad and turn this into a Boston College/Clemson debate but apparently it isn't working.

Alright, so Tommy Bowden is officially out after resigning (funny) as coach. Rob Spence was also kind enough to "resign". Who do you think the top candidates are? I'll say in order:
1. Lane Kiffin
2. Will Muschamp
3. Bobby Johnson
4. Jim Grobe
5. Bud Foster
Darkhorse: Skip Holtz
THE BUZZ IS BACK!
You don't think Kiffin has a shot? Clemson is probably going to be the most attractive job out there. I really would take any of them. I can't really decide. Part of me thinks that it would be great to go young and energetic because comments from CJ Spiller seemed to suggest that the Tigers were just bored of Bowden and his coaching tactics. I really think Muschamp might be the guy if that's so. He's a fiery coach who will preach defense. He will probably need a strong offensive coordinator at first, but I think he would be well worth it. Kiffin would also be able to come in and provide energy, but his emphasis is totally opposite of Muschamp. I think Kiffin would have an easier time though because while he is offensive minded, he's definetly learned some defensive stuff from Papa Kiffin. Heck, he might even bring his Dad to Clemson to be the defensive coordinator/asst. head coach.

Bud Foster will never leave Blacksburg...
