I know a lot of people don't hold much value in the +/- stat, but I thought I would share this anyways. Toronto Maple Leafs 2012 5th round draft pick Connor Brown from the Erie Otters was a league worst -72 in the 2011-12 season. Prior to tonight's game against Plymouth he was sitting at even for the 2012-13 season. I'm not sure if this is a CHL record as far as improvement from one season to the next, but something had to of changed in his game to improve that much.

I can't imagine someone jumping more than 72 in one season, that's ridiculous.

A -72 in itself just doesn't make sense to me.... How could that possibly happen?? He must have been a minus ever single game

I had to do a double take when I looked him up on hockeydb.com after we drafted him on that Saturday last summer. Couldn't believe it.

His team last year was really bad, worst in the OHL by far. But to go from -72 to even in one season is incredible

Yeah I can't recall an improvement like that in any league to be honest. Very impressive.

The kid has changed because he's playing with a phenom in Connor McDavid.

His team was 10-52-3-3 and scored fewest goals in the league, but quite a few and also gave up wayyy more goals than any other team. 7 guys were -40 or worse, I think Brown was only the leader because he played 68 games with quite a bit of ice time.

So that's what you need to get with Elisha Cuthbert
