He's there, Colton Orr is here.

Enough said about some of this team's problems.

People say he's not an NHLer. How does anyone really know? He's played 2 games at the NHL level. Some guys are late bloomers and some guys who don't have the best skills still are smart enough and play hard enough to be good NHLers.

I think Hamilton deserves a chance. He's only 27 and there's an odd chance he has upside as a third liner.

That doesn't exist with the Mike Browns and more importantly the Colton Orrs of the world.

jrice, notice that of all the 2012 drafted kids that were given 5 games with their NHL teams, not one of them was a d-man.

One of the prime candidates was injured in Ryan Murray.

Also with Gardiner's issues it sure would have been nice to have Rielly for a bit (powerplay enough)

It was most likely the plan all along. They brought him up because their were no practices (AHL all-star game) and then sent him down in time for the Marlies first practice back.

his game was really off when he first came back, with the depth on D... not surprised to see him back down for a few games.

Also, whats going on with colborne?? why not try and bring him up for third line and put kadri on the wing with kessel to get him going. I know colborne has some growing to do but this teams injured up front right now and kessel is playing with scrubs.

Kadri has been terrific at centre, and switching him would lower his overall value IMO. Let him continue to get better at faceoffs against NHL talent and let him improve his defensive game and he becomes a good centre ice option for the future. Plus this team has more than enough wings, we need centres. Colborne can stay in the AHL right now, he's only 23 and putting up decent numbers. Let Eakins work with him some more and see what that does.

The only reason Gardiner was called up was because of the AHL All star break. They wanted him to continue skating rather then sit around, which is the only reason they called him up in the first place.

Now that the AHL will resume, he will play games down there.

As far as the Hamilton call up he deserves it. I am excited to see what he brings. He's a class act. Funny how Connolly wasn't called up though LOL.

The kid's been successful his whole life playing centre. Ron Wilson's bright idea putting him on the wing. Kid's been successful.. let's change em. Where the hell did Wilson go into hiding anyways? The hills in Tora Bora or what?

Kadri has been the best player so far this year on the Leafs...I don't think you should be doing anything with him..other than surrounding him with talent.
