32 Pts in 21 AHL games....Kind of sucks we didn't land this Schultz kid
Whats up with Gardiner? i hear he has concussion symptoms...
****
I watched that game, he got a nasty blindside hit.
He took two pretty high hits that game. Seems like they were targeting him which isn't a shock considering his play. First one you might question but the second one was blatantly a headshot.
Let call a spade a spade, and cut through the BS... he has concussion like symptoms, because he has a concussion. Heard it hear first folks, Gardiner HAS A CONCUSSION. PERIOD. God they think we're stupid.
His forward moving momentum was stopped by an opposing force. The forward moving momentum of Jake Gardiners brain was stopped by a collision with the inside of his skull; thus he is experiencing concussion like symptoms, because that there, is what you call a concussion.

He obviously has a concussion we're just waiting for Dave Feschuk to call his mother for confirmation.
Ah man! I wish I thought up that one.
I always love the "concussion-like symptoms". Why they can't just call it a concussion is ridiculous. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck...
Must be a goose.
Things will always work out in the end, but if you want them to turn out a certain way... You need to make it happen.
Has anyone been watching the Marlies on a regular basis that can offer a prospects update that has a little more substance than just the stats? I was looking over the stats today and it's good to see Kadri (GP 24 G 7 A 17) and Frattin (GP 15 G 8 A 4) putting up some decent numbers. Seems like a lot of the "fringe" prospects are struggling... Colborne (GP 25 G 1 A 8), D'Amigo (GP 24 G 3 A 4), Ashton (GP 20 G 6 A 4), McKegg (GP 20 G 4 A 3) and Ross (GP 11 G 1 A 0).
I was listening to the Fan yesterday and they said that Kadri was looking much better on the ice and he has been working harder off the ice. Ashton was really impressive too, using his body more recently and working hard on both ends of the ice. The play by play voice for the marlies was on yesterday and said Gardiner, Kadri, and Ashton have been fun to watch and thinks all could make an impact on the Leafs soon. Haven't heard/seen much of the other guys.
Also 1000+ posts, i think we need a new Spec Thread
Most of those guys are buried with depth
Kadri, Frattin, Aucoin, Zigomanis, Hamilton and Abbott when he plays all getting pretty big minutes. Colborne getting ice time but just not playing well. Most of D'Amigo's time is SH and he's playing mostly bottom 6, same with Ashton (not the SH part) and Ross plays 4th line when he's in.
So that's what you need to get with Elisha Cuthbert
As of the other day Ryan Hamilton is the leading snipe show in the history of the Marlies. He'll never do it at the NHL level but I've never understood why he hasn't been given a chance in a bottom 6 role whether on the Leafs or before he came to the Leafs. He's a good bottom 6 player period he even showed it last year when he was called up albeit briefly. I can list a group of players on the Leafs he's better than.
