Where is Dmitri Orlov? I thought he was going to play in the AHL this season.

He's playing back home in the KHL.

I'm not too familiar to be honest with how those rules work, I'm sure it's a possibility...not likely though. He's still young and a year over there won't hurt him.

Orlov is d, right? Isn't Hershey overflowing with D too? Carlson, Alzner, Collins, McNeill (x2) ... Orlov will probably be in Hershey at the end of year (ala Carlson last year) or def. by next year. Currently there's not much room (thats a good problem) so why rush?

I dunno after Carlson and Alzner the D-men are average if not below, and some people think Alzner won't be as good as first thought.

Yeah Alzner was ranked the 6th best prospect last year he dropped to 16th this year.

It's gotta be to open a spot for Fehr eventually. Sloan practiced in Kane's spot at forward today, so he may get in there tomorrow.

Dimitri Kugryshev is the most interesting Capitals prospect to me. He seems like a sleeper that could develop into a decent NHL player. He is good along the boards and has a quick shot and a great one-timer.
