I think we forever have his rights because he never came over. I could be wrong
Also I hear 1 or 2 years
But if his moms really that sick I sorta don't blame him

have his ****ing mom come to america where she can have good doctors maybe?
I'm sure they hve good doctors in Russia. If you were sick would you wanna move
petrov wont be anything special anyway.. he will be like nino this year.. but kabanov will be a beast when he makes the team
Any person with any commong sense would leave any other country to come to America
Because it's a bunch of ******** and he doesn't want to play for us..

Apparently niņo missed an empty Netter today... I really hope this kid turns out ok..
An take this as it is. The source is Eklund an hockeybuzz but apparently isles are going after top pick...
If this was true, and they trade hamonic I'd be so pissed off
Anyone but hammy and jt

They wudlnt trade Hamonic, and that is likely a false rumor
isles will stay at 4 and hopefully murray drops to us
I'd rather take gally
Our top 2 defensemen were taken out of the 1st (hammer and striet)
Most teams top defensemen were taken out of the first rounds
^no.
Why?
You would take nail>Murray/dumba if given the chance
Numerous scouts are saying if gally wasn't injured he would have given nail a run for #1 and place gally as a future 80-90 point center. He is big and skilled. There are some scouts who rank him as 1 over nail (very few)
So I don't see why you wouldn't take him. If he's avialable it'd be stupid not too. You always take PBA and trade expendable assets
Draft should go (based on skill) nail gally grigs , and I think it will unfortunately
murray is playing for team canada in the world championships as a draft eligible player.. the kid is special
No one who knows anything about hockey has Yakupov lower than #1.. Not saying I wouldn't take Gally, but Nail is clearly the best prospect in the draft.

1. No you dont always take BPA. Many teams dont. See 2010 NHL draft, when we took Nino and not Fowler.
2. I think there's WAY too many variables in "If Gally was healthy, he would have maybe come close to Nail". Well he wasnt healthy and he probably won't be a top 3 pick for good reason.
I still think if we go forward it has to be Forsberg. And I also think we can't go forward.
Look at our D. Hamonic, Mac, and then a bunch of total wild cards (De Haan, Doovan, Ness, Mayfield may never amount to anything), but we have a ton of forward prospect depth. The fact that after the 3 centers on our roster (Nielsen, JT, Bailey) we have Lee, Strome, Nelson, Cizikas, Dibenedetto, and more? All centers all with NHL talent. Not like we dont have winger depth too, Rakhshani, Ullstrom, Kabanov, Petrov, Nino, Persson, etc, and once again, tats after Moulson, Parenteau, Okposo, Grabner, etc etc.
Goal scoring will not be a problem next year or any time in the future. it will eb defense. Teams cant win without 4 legit top 4 defenseman. We have 2 right now. Streit will be gone, MacDonald is a 4-5 on most teams, De Haan, Donovan, Ness, and Mayfiled could eb 3-4 dmen someday, but most likely only 1 or maybe 2 of them get tht good.
We need a #1 dman, and that's obviously not coming via trade or via free agency.
Dumba or Murray. Nuff said
