I heard that the reason that Riendeau went under the radar was that he was only a one-way player, and he is not a very good skater.

You can always teach a kid to skate...thats not hard...and for being a one-way player...you can teach a kid to play defense...but he has to want to play defense...it depends if he is a one way player by choice or by talent...if its by choice then you have a problem...if its by talent and just coaching...you can help the kid out...just look at Savard. Anyways...Riendeau might be good...give him some speed maybe and a little better skating and we'll live

IMO We should start a new prospect thread for each season

Kevin Regan, still rehabbing from hip surgery, has been assigned to Reading of the ECHL. Dany Sabourin and Matt Dalton remain in Providence as the two goalies.

Regan served as Sabourin's backup in Providence's only game so far.

I like Regan. He will be nothing special but hopefully he comes back from hip surgery nicely.

And for anyone wondering, Carl Soderberg is 4th in the SWE-1 for scoring

He should decide soon though. Next season should be a priority to try and convince him to come to America. AHL is where he should step first, but I know he wants to come straight to the NHL, which could be a problem.

I honestly don't understand why people wouldn't want to come play in the NHL..its the best hockey on the planet. Why settle for being the 4th best in the SWE-1 when you could try and be the 4th best in the NHL.

    Booba Fett is back baby.
