    SM-liiga - 8GP / 1.83 GAA / .930 SV%

    Finland2 - 12GP / 2.78 GAA / .915 SV%

I always get messed up with the levels/leagues over in Europe but isn't the SM-liiga a higher level of competition? I believe SM-liiga was the league Tuukka played in prior to making his jump to the US.
    I think it is

Looking back at the draft pick we would have had when we traded for Horton, it could have been Tarasenko. Horton helped us get the cup so cant complain.

that's if the B's drafted him there....its so easy to say we could have had "insert player here". When we drafted Hamill, Logan Couture went a pick after......i know what you mean though, its fun to look back on drafts and see who went after the pick you made.

Koko with a Hatty today vs. Sudbury Wolves. Since returning from Russia he's been tearing up the OHL

Can't wait till he's playing with Spooner up in Providence

In a full season Koko's OPT looks like this

    47GP / 42G / 26A / 66Pts

The Bruins' prospects are destroying the OHL

Impressive line from Svedberg, I've been saying since he was drafted he's gonna be solid. We've got strong goaltending in the pipeline. I wonder if management views Khudobin as a long term backup, and if he'd be okay in that role

Was Svedberg every drafted? I thought he was just signed by the Bruins as he always stayed over in Europe.

I actually think Khudobin will end up becoming a starter and will leave here to start somewhere with goalie issues. I have a weird sense Khudobin is going to be really good in the NHL.

I've always liked te idea of drafting goalies in the late round. Svedberg went undrafted, Volden and Gothberg were 6th rounders I think and are probably just as good or better than most goalie prospect taken rounds earlier.

Goalies have such a strange development process that it seems like it's better to go based on raw talent and let them develop. I mean if you look 5 of the last 7 Vezina winners were 5+ round picks

    Henrik Lundqvist - 7th round
    Tim Thomas - 9th round
    Ryan Miller - 5th round
    Miikka Kiprusoff - 5th round
