I actually meant the Sarunas Jasikevicius type of players; ie Superstars internationally but benchwarmers in the NBA.

    hope you weren't offended jwalk

I'm sorry but I thought those unathletic players you mentioned were the ones that were beating your national team from 2002 until now.

International basketball has upgraded majorly and the americans better get used to it. It's not a coincidence that almost every NBA team has at least one international player on their roster at the moment.

I would sit here and talk with you about whether my comments held any truth... but judging by this post alone, it's obvious you were easily offended by this and in no way shape or form will make a valid argument.

I ain't upset, I'm just fed up with the americans thinking their national team is tha bomb when it is obvious that the rest of the world has clearly cought up with you. It's like Kobe. I ain't hating on Kobe but some of his fans are arrogant as hell.

If you do want to discuss I'm all up for it and the convo will be civilized I assure you.

Okay, I'll give you a valid argument... one that basically comes from Melo, who pretty much said that he prefers FIBA play to NBA play because it allow him to pursue a more physical game and not be reigned in by the pussified NBA rules.

Well being from the USA, I do agree with you..check out the post I left in the NBA forum, in the "If Argetina had their stars" thread. I just don't understand why a lot of players, fans think that we are invincible. We aren't..if we take that mentality into the Olympics, another defeat wouldn't be surprising. We need to give the international players/teams respect.
