Man this is depressing. I still miss Bernie Williams. I cant imagine not seeing #2 out there.
I live in Illinois and I have Direct TV. I got the package that has YES network but the Nets games are blacked out. Will the Yankee games be blacked out as well? Im paying a ton more just to get YES...
I thought we were talking about war? sheesh.
The infield scares me. If Jeter and Tex go back down that will be a disaster.
Sun Tzu mastered the art of war.
WAR. What is it good for?
Dunn would strike out 200 times but hit 50 bombs in YS.
Nova shows signs of brilliance then loses it the next game. Or next inning.
Nova scares me.
My sister in law is a Red Sox fan. Atleast was. She stopped being one in 2008 and is now a Nats fan. I dated a Sox fan in high school and it wasn't an issue.
Bleacher report power rankings have the Yankees 6th. Behind the Red Sox.
Ells can put up some big numbers. He hit 32 HR's in 2011. Cano's high is 33. YS will help with his production. There's no reason he can't hit 20+ and drive in 80+ and steal 40-50 bases.
He's always been a slow starter regardless of health. Nothing new. Just hope he plays 150+ games.
I hope he's nothing like Igawa.
What player have they signed offers no on-field production? If that's the case where's my contract?
I'm glad he did. Whatever he said to Tanaka must have helped.
Praise be to Hideki. I miss that crazy bastard.
Ells has had some freak injuries, nothing chronic. He plays hard and runs into walls. I'd like to see him tone it down a notch to avoid any avoidable injury. Cano does stay healthy and is a producer,...
I agree very much. Cano should make more than Ellsbury I've never said he shouldn't. I suspect as well the Yankees have a reason for the offer they made. Maybe they knew another team would top that...
Que Katy Perry
Ellsbury and Cano are two different players. Depending on what tangibles you seek in a player determines the value of said player. Ellsbury brings speed, plus defense and a good bat. Not a power bat...
Cano's career post season average is .222 Seattle should love that, considering it wont apply to his stay in Seattle.
Its hard to forget about Cano when people bring up his name after every signing. He's no longer a Yankee. Let it go. Today is a good day. Lets not ruin it with Cano chatter.
