I'll be really mad if we trade up in this draft for anyone.
I'll take my chances with Hank between the pipes in a must win game over anyone besides Quick maybe
Just dawned on me that we have two months to go until draft day....ugh.
Is St. Louis suiting up tonight??
Not crazy about the picks being dealt. Especially since these drafts the next couple years are deep. Nevertheless, it's good to get something for Cally before he walks in FA. St. Louis is a stud and...
Exactly, it's better to get a guy like St. Louis now then let Callahan walk away for nothing.
Anything's possible in the postseason when you have the best goalie in the league and a top flight defense. Wouldn't be so sure about that...could end up playing Boston again in the ECF.
Our D is fine. We have maybe the best top-4 D in the league, we need a second line physical bruiser...we've been missing this type of player ever since Prust was let go, which was a huge mistake.
Hate to see Callahan go, but he's simply not worth the 6 years ~ 35 million he was looking for. He's been hurt and isn't young anymore. The Rangers needed some offensive firepower and veteran...
St Louis would be a great addition. We need some firepower if we want any shot at the tops team in the East.
Would love to sign this guy. Talented with a chip on his shoulder playing in Rex's D?? That would be a dream.
Damn...#1 overall? That's saying a lot.
I see what you did there.
Yeah, it's weak in that it's not deep at all. The top has a few nice prospects like you mentioned but we'd all be very surprised if we took a safety early enough to get one of those guys.
I'd be willing to spend on Byrd or Ward considering we will be addressing other positions in the draft and it's a pretty weak safety class.
Responding to a typical NE troll won't cause any good.
Peter King @SI_PeterKing 1m
RT @JsnMeeker: Cooks will probably Be a Jet at pick 18 ... 18 to NYJ a perfect landing spot, in value and need, for Cooks.
I hope not
I'd really be surprised if we shelled out big money for Decker. Sanders and Nicks on cheaper deals would be no-brainers though.
WR is deep though. You can take one WR early on and one later and still find two starters. Not saying I wouldn't double dip depending on the board at the time, but if there's a stud LB or OL...
Maclin just got a 1 year deal from the Eags
If it's a WR heavy draft then why double dip so early on? We will be able to get a good WR prospect in rounds 3 and 4 as well. I think we'll end up taking BPA or trading down in round 1 (if anyone at...
I could really care less. Despite Geno sucking for 3-4 games in the middle of the season, he was pretty solid given how bad the talent was around him. I'd like to see any young QB try to have success...
Yes, because "best QB in class" clearly translates to "future HOF". Nice connection there.
Oh well Pinstripe Power says he sucks so it must be true. You know, because he's not a stubborn troll or anything.
