Well it wouldn't completely free up a spot, but it would certainly help the chances that we ever see him play for us.
Kemp, Cano and Price going to the Mariners? That would be interesting.
Getting Webster back would be cool.
Would free up a spot for Pederson, too.
Mariner's could be in on Price. I hope they lose out on both him and Cano so they charge hard after Kemp.
Look at the posts above you.
EDIT: Got beat. Damnit.
Well this just sucks.
If he did turn down a 10/300 deal, for a pitcher, and he still didn't sign with us then I'd guess he's gone. He could just really want to play for Texas.
They should sign Cano.
Then trade for Kemp. Because reasons.
I really don't understand him. He was offered a (rumor) 300 million dollar contract. He would get to pitch for a consistent contender.
If he's still unsure about playing for us, then I don't see...
Sure, but they don't project a single Dodgers to pitch more than 200 innings. These projections seem a little TOO conservative.
Worst show on TV.
I would bet my life I could come up with a better story than those "writers" came up with.
Steamer projections are so unkind to the Dodgers.
Or they're just very conservative projections.
Please no Cano!
I hope we don't have TOO much up our sleeve. A 3B, bench improvement and possibly Tanaka. That's all we need.
No. Just that those 3 are interested. Seattle has been looking for a bat for years. Them getting/not getting Cano will have an impact. Texas also wants to improve, as they've been getting passed by...
^ Yeah, agree.
Well to be fair, Kemp's contract was fantastic. They had no clue his body would completely break down a year latrer.
Cano gone and no Tanaka?
A Paco-Wilson-Jansen 3 is rather good. With Dominguez, Garcia and Withrow with the rest.
Jesus, that's terrible. Hope the reports of a player in life threatening condition is false.
Oh god. Please not a League like contract.
