It's a good lineup however it's constructed so I'd throw Conforto 3rd to get him good pitches and grow into the star of this offense.

    Granderson
    Walker
    Conforto
    Cespedes
    Wright
    Duda
    d'Arnaud...

So I think Murphy's salary is close to a wash with Cabrera. Ditto for Walker and Neise. A couple months of Cespedes is around the arbitration bumps. So between Cuddy and Colon don't we have around...

It's a good, not great, addition and made sense for both clubs. Niese was probably our best trade asset without hurting the 2016 squad so I feel like we're left with the FA market. Sign Desmond,...

Pretty disappointed that the FO clearly doesn't see Dilson as a viable play at 2B in 2016 or anytime soon after. I could understand making Murphy an offer because he's versatile at 3B with Wright's...

Murph and Cespedes certainly leave offensive gaps to fill but I think the Mets should and will be patient. I really want to see what Dilson can do and perhaps signing Desmond makes sense so Flores...

Agreed. I'd rather have Rajai Davis. I'd also buy low on Starlin Castro. He can't have lost it at age 25.

I really like Cespedes and to a lesser extent Upton. I don't think they'll add another corner guy though. Rajai Davis is probably the best fit and is underrated IMO.

I like Gomez, he fits. But I really hope we're not giving up Wheeler, a gold glove CF, and Flores for a guy hitting .262 and 8hr.

Maybe instead of flipping Tulo they now move Batista for an arm. I bet the Yanks go after Reyes now.

With all of Toronto's firepower you could argue that they would be fine with a defensive SS like Tejada while adding the #3 SP and closer they desperately need.

Why is everyone assuming the Jays won't flip Tulo? It's not an obvious move but they never needed another bat, they needed pitching, specifically in the bullpen. Would a deal centered around Niese...

Not a sexy name but I'd prefer Trevor Plouffe to Ramirez. He's got good production, younger, cheaper, and probably expendable with Sano being promoted. Niese alone might get it done.

Gomez would be such a spark to our ho-hum offense and playing LF/CF he could provide plenty of rest/matchup advantages for Lagares, Cuddy, and Duda.

Who do you think are the ideal targets? For a rental I like Zobrist and Cespedes. For young/controllable I'm not really sure. Castro?
