worth a shot?
It would've been nice to fill a need, but I like the pick; trying to fix that run defense.
Packers drafted a safety. Saints took a ILB.
1. Tampa Bay - Jameis Winston, QB, FSU
2. Tennessee - Leonard Williams, DL, USC
3. Jacksonville - Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama
4. Oakland - Kevin White, WR, WVU
5. Washington - Dante Fowler, OLB,...
Chicago wants to take the ball out of Cutler's hands and give it to Forte more often. Forte is going to be a focal point for them; not a chance he goes anywhere. That's pretty much the word around...
Did a first round mock, since I'm bored. Haven't had as much time to research prospects as I would like, but I just went by apparent needs for each team. Tried to go against some of the consensus...
After watching some video, I'm not impressed with any of the top cornerbacks.
Maybe he's retiring... that would end his free agent experience as well, lol.
- Tannehill struggles with the deep ball.
- 9 out of 10 times, when Tanny threw a decent deep ball, Wallace dropped it.
So what you're saying is, next year, Suh will be an 88, McCain a 65, Cameron a 79, and Stills a 75 while Hartline goes up to 84...
Unless we get something great in return or pick up another dynamic receiver, I think I'd rather just keep Wallace as another weapon in our offense.
I prefer Cameron over Clay, but not for that chunk of change.
My hope was always that we let Clay walk and sign Cameron... would be nice if that happened, IMO.
I was never a big fan of Odrick, always felt he preferred the joking around to actually playing hard. I didn't really want him back even before all the Suh rumors. Also, I'm assuming we cut Starks...
I was hoping we were going to go after Cobb, oh well.
Packers always tend to get their guys back on some kind of hometown discount.
My fantasies tend not to go that far into the future nor should they, that could get scary.
I know it's not realistic at all, but could you imagine getting Scherzer.
Any chance we're the team that posted the fee for Jung-ho Kang?
Nothing like not being a little bit satisfied until you have a contending major league team AND an All Star at every position waiting in the minors.
I hope Melky hops back on the juice, maybe he'll hit even better... :D
Unveiling of the Wildcat, but that's probably about it.
Latest report from Susan Slusser (San Francisco Chronicle) has Semien, Bassitt, and a third player to the A's.
I'd be disappointed if Kenny left. He made several frustrating deals, but so does every GM. I liked his aggressive mindset and while I'm glad that mindset is no longer in the GM role, I'd like to...
