Please show me this youth you speak of on the Phillies? They are no match in 3 years time.
This is too funny. Phillies have NOTHING on the Braves in terms of prospects, and Abernasty69 two players don't make a whole team. I'll take Heyward/Teheren/ over next 10 years over Harper/Strasburg...
As most know, the Braves have a top farm system in the MLB. Not only do they have young stars like Jurrjens, Hanson, Kimbrel, Freeman, Mccann, Beachy and Venters performing like all stars in the MLB...
PSD: Where 1 HR is considered producing power!
Conztanza fan for life!
Jose Reyes!
Bring up Teheren for the sake of god! If Teheren was called up today, I'd put money on him being better then any of our current SPs.
BigLee53.. I hope you leaving Freeman off the list was a mistake, especially you being a fan of a NLEast team.
Fact is.. Freeman has my vote. The guy has been incredible, has hit 3rd for a good...
When I was younger my older brother sat up on a tree and when I would walk under it he would take ***** on me.... So thats why I'm so mean to everyone.
Agreed Heyward needs to get his **** togetheir!
Time to call up Teheren.. We look terrible out there, while the best pitching prospects looms in the minors.
I'd consider Michael Bourn a impact player. Not many other guys can do what he does, and now we finally have a TRUE leadoff hitter. 70 stolen bases a year while batting over .300 and gold glove...
Now the only dead weight we have is Alex Gonzalez... Pastornicky in 2012 anyone?
Even if we don't resign him, he's our for this year and next which makes this trade worthwhile even if he walks after next year.
Pulling for you guys to make a deal today, hopefully it is Jason Kubel. But wouldn't be suprised if Willingham was the guy yall get.
Do yall think you would have a chance of Omar Infante? He...
Atleast they realize it's time to rebuild. If I was a Astros fan, I'd be happy they traded Pence/Bourn and are trying to deal Wandy. The Astros won't be good anytime soon, so why not send guys that...
Infante is a FA after this year, I would love to sign him even if we don't deal for him.
So who would you want as the bench bat? Willingham has to be the best option as of now, right?
Which is more important now? Getting a RH bench bat or a bullpen arm?
Or Willingham and Adams.. either one.
I'll take Infante and Adams!
Exaclty.. I don't care about anybody we gave up. Even if Ober does make the MLB, he projects as a 4-5 starter on a good team. We have 4 other prospects in our system that are better, and further...
Wren is the man, I'll admit my frustration after seeing two other NL pennant chasers acquire the top two bats on the market, but I think this was without a doubt the best move of the 3. Why?

Any news on when Chipper will return?
