Moon Palace is quite the place.....12 restaurants I believe. I'd definitely recommend it. At least when I was there, the beach was groomed better than some of the other resorts.

Having been to both areas, I would agree. Cancun has a good nightlife if that's mostly what you're looking for. Playa has less of it, but a good place to go.
