Makes sense for the dodgers. They get Gonzo, Beckett, Crawford at less than their full contracts. Yes, they give up prospects, but when you want to win those are the sacrifices you must make.

Trading Jackie Bradley Jr would be a mistake. He isnt that far away and is Jacoby's potential replacement.

He is arguably having a better age 22 season at High A and AA in the minors than Jacoby...

Maybe there is a chance they can sign & trade him, so they can at least get something in return. (i.e Lee). Maybe, get a future 2nd pick plus 1 player?

Im reading our best bet is to re-sign Bass & Green as soon as possible. This way the celts would be under the lux tax. In the case they would have the full mid level which is 5 mil a year over 4 yrs....
