Somehow, Ankiel's start with the Mets reminds me somewhat of Jeff Francoeur's start with them ...
Mets becoming experts on losing.... with Atlanta and Yankees coming up in next two series, this trend is likely going to continue... good chance Mets season will to all extents and purposes be over...
The Byrd flew down the line --- good hustle by the old man...
Duda robbed!
Well, Harvey was a mere human today and only pitched very good, but at least the Met's covered his butt and he is off the hook with another No Decision....
Hell, i hang around just to see if a Met gets a hit...
For all intents and purposes, Mets lost this game before the top half of the first was over... Jeeze... way to go guys...
This team is helpless... I mean hopeless... Nah, they are both helpless and hopeless...
As a diehard Islander fan I must agree with that ...
This is an el cheapo team... one couldn't get much cheaper in terms of on field personnel for an MLB team ... mix and match the line up whichever way you want, but too many holes filled by AAAA...
OMG!! OMG!! Mets won a series!!! Calm my beating heart! Will miracles never cease?
Duda is so graceful in the outfield...LOL
Well, they found a way to maintain their game average 2 runs and at east avoided another shut out... so the game was not completely bleak and dismal...
 Oh well, but it really doesn't matter....
Must be tough on a Mess pitcher though.. he knows if he gives up 2 runs, likely game over and he probably will take the loss...
Double post^
They don't care... he is a cheap warm body that fills a roster spot...
Ike is really messed up...
Carson has been clocked so many times he must feel like a punch drunk boxer... jeeze louise
We're on a roll... 2 wins in a row!! Harvey winning his own game with his bat... I guess he realized he has to both hit and pitch to have a chance to win with this anemic lineup.
I guess he wants to win for a change...
Miracle of miracles... a Mets win.. and good starting pitching
The Mets!
Finding New and Unique Ways to Lose Games
Mets tie it... then RP gives the lead right back on a wild pitch.... LOL gotta love this team.... Casey Stengel should be the manager....
Ummm... he is cheap labor and their ain't much else to replace him?
