After this seasons start though, I have wondered if maybe Boggs wasn't just lucky too often last year. I didn't think so, but it sure has smelled of Franklin each time Boggs has been on the mound...
No doubt...can't imagine how I would have forgot Wiggington. Must be more "dead-to-me" than I thought. He sould definitely be the first one gone. I would like to see Jackson up and getting some time...
I'd rather see DD sent down in place of Jackson at this point. Kozma went through a rough start to the month but has been productive over the last several games. Descalso hasn't done much all season.
How is hitting .364 avg and an .800 OPS over the last 7 games regressing?
.....and all with our most productive bench-bat on a rehab, due back from the DL this week.
The only LaRosa's I've liked was at the ball park. The area restaurants have never lived up to the slice at Cincy's ball park.
Disclaimer: As a former Milwaukee area native, with relatives in...
I say we win all 3 provided the starters can all throw complete games. If the BP is used, well then forget it. Miller isn't pitching so we should get some kind of run support...
If he has a pulse, he's more valuable than Wiggington.
Wow....thanks for enlightening me. I honestly thought it was a "bit", and he was often only taking his stance to offer a counter-point. Pretty funny stuff. I was at least right about Kruk being a...
I agree Jeffy, with one caveat. Kelly, Boggs and Salas may all be comparable, but I like Kelly's head much more. Boggs and Salas get rattled too easy. Kelly has at least shown the ability to come...
You do understand HR is role playing on the MLB show, right? He's forced into a counter-point role as the show is formatted. It's really a no-win situation for him. It does offer a non-saber "fan"...
Jeffy's a 'bot.
That was from a comedians routine....can't think of who though. Maybe Bill Burr? Louis CK?
Like any word, in-context is appropriate. Ortiz nailed it.
I have always hated Boston, but as often is the case the hated team or individual does something to endear themselves to the hater. A new...
I just always assumed it was a Philly fan flipping-off Santa.
Now thats funny!
Maybe Jay's poor arm is being amplified because Furcal isn't out there going deeper for a short cut-off. With Furcal's speed and arm, he could make Jay's throw a little shorter. Just guessing. I'm...
I know what you're saying, and agree to an extent. At this point though, I don't think Mujica has done anything to lose the spot. I also think Rosenthal (the next best option), has sufferd from...
I'm not worried so much about Jay. He's taking his hitting slump into the field though, which is bothersome. I think he'll get right soon though.
Boggs and Salas need to start hitting Molina's...
Spiezio was a better pitcher than Franklin. He had a dyed red imperial goatee, Franklin's was naturally red, and did nothing for his ability to get batters out.
Really? Skip? You had to go there? Ugh, Boggs starts growing a red-goatee, I'll be finding your house and egging it.
It's not to the "Franklin fiasco" yet. I do like the idea of Kelly, but we'll...
Agree. I never thought he would stay in the first place.
Love that the Angels are behind the Mariners and Sto's in the standings though.
and Lohse should definitely get some Cardinal Love.
I would have much rather seen Mo take a chance on a rule 5 guy, or almost anything than this signing. Hated it when it happedned, and am hating it more everyday. Mo never ceases to disappoint me....
ugh....
