The reason we didn't play him at DT was because of Seymour and Kelly. Now both gone I can see the move being permanent for Houston. He did move inside sometimes on passing plays.

Honestly, any DL can play DE, its just a matter of how well can he play at that position. Vance is best suited in the middle. Either as a 3 tech or nose tackle.
