With Venters and now EOF out looks like bullpen help will be I'm order.
Jason Heyward DH 0-3, HBP, .000 AVG making him 0-8 with a walk in 2 rehab games. It could be awhile befor he is ready to return to the big club.
I know it is early but, I like to speculate. Feel free to put any rumors, ideas, or questions.
With that said, what does everyone feel is the teams biggest need?
Oh, and moderater please let...
What if we did Emilio Bonifacio for Rev and Uggla? Bonifacio's value seems way down but he could bounce back with a return to the NL and would give us a lead off hitter.
What do you guys think of Emilio Bonifacio to the Braves for Brian MCain, Dan Uggla, and mod level prospect?
Atlanta needs lead off hitter and should be familiar with Emilio from his time on the NL...
And he seems to be making the needed adjustments!
I know cold streaks are apart of baseball but, it seems that pitchers have made an adjustment to how they approach Evan. Unless Evan can adjust to how teams are pitching him; now we may have to pump...
And so it begins....

Blue Jays have expressed an interest in Rev.
Or we could trade David Price and extend him! Just a thought.
Pastornicky is swinging a hot bat maybe, FW would consider dumping Ugla.
Does anyone know what Bill James is predicting? With the exception of the injury James was spot on with Brandon Beachy.
Todd Redmond was designated for assignment by the Reds. what do you guys think of FW signing him as an extra starter? This also makes the Janish trade look good right now.
Has anyone consider Peter Bourjos for Tommy Hanson? Both have deminished value and both seem to fit a need for the acquiring team if they bounce back.
The Upton brothers. That is what I want.
yes!!!!!
Yeah I'm aware almost everyone get put on waivers this time of year. The normality of the situation wasn't the question.
Cliff Lee is on waivers. Could the Braves be a player for him? At the very least I would like to see FW put a claim in to see what the Phillies do.
Well Vizcaino has been injury prone. It is part of the reason the Yankees traded him to the Braves.
@JonHeymanCBS dempster to braves trade said "50-50'' now by 1 person (me: it doesnt even feel that likely now.
Seems the longer we wait the less likely it is.
The more I think about this possibility the more I dislike it. We have a very young and capable team that just needs a few pieces and those pieces are in the system. They just need more time. If we...
Well with Beachey gone for the season, looks like we will we be sellers. Here is to hoping for something good in return. I think Uggla and Bourne are prime candidates to be traded.
I have two predictions:
1. This team will not make the playoffs.
2.One of the star players will be traded.
This team just keeps braking my heart.
This just dosen't have "it". It seems that they are lacking some intangible. Maybe, a fire sale is in order. I don't know these games have been hard to watch.
A good read from talking chop.
