1st time I played the lottery machine I got 2nd pick so I'm not doing it again.
I know this might not be popular in here but I'm all in on shabazz. He's got an nba frame but he needs get it in better shape ala Love,Dwill, and Pek.Also I just think his game is more nba than...
^^I can see both points.
Amen.
D-Will Luke and NO:26 in the draft for afflalo and T.Harris?
For 3 years at 10-12 mil I wouldn't mind Stuckey for the simple fact that when he's on his game he can get to the rim and draw contact 2 things we need a little more of here.
4 mil for Mayo?If I was flappy sanders(flip Saunders) I would do it.When he was coaching here my drunk uncle(druncle)used to yell "I hate u flappy sanders" at the TV all the time.
I think 3 things will help him get better on D (Hawk already mentioned 2 of these)!
1)More meaningful games(like olympics)will naturally spur on more meaningful D.
2)When it occurs to him that...
I agree that big games will spur on Love's D but some of the ownness falls on him as well.Following the league as long as I have I've seen a lot of players come in and work mostly on their offensive...
I want to add that Love doesn't have to be the best defensive player on the court just the one with the most effort and please get back after bad calls.
If you look back in this thread I have only judged him on his 1st four years because obviously he didn't play last year.
My biggest two(only 2)camplaints with Love are defensive effort and...
Again I'm not asking for the playoffs just more wins than what we've had during love's 1st 5 years(113-281).
Obviously I'm not judging by last year since I've repeatedly said I'm judging by his first 4 years ,seeing as how we had the worst record of ANY other team in the NBA tem over those 1st 4 years.I...
The question souldn't be the playoffs but rather a player that would of led the teams love had to a better record than the BOBCATS over a 4 YEAR stretch?
These are ambiguous terms as topdog said already.
This is how I define a franchise player.
If every team has a franchise player then yes Love is a franchise player.I just have a different definition than you but by your definition he is.
Franchise Player = All star game pretty much every year and in the playoffs pretty much every year.
Like I said, maybe I'm tough judge but thats my definition for any player not just Love.
IMO one of muhammed's biggest problems is his conditioning and with the track record of our team he could benifit greatly from coming here. This guy has no muscle tone and looks a little pudgy but IF...
Thats totally fair imo ,every year 3 or 4 teams get to the playoffs with out a franchise player(see hawks, bulls, memphis and even jazz had winning record).I,m not asking for much just a winning record...
Lets take K.Irvin for example. I feel he is a potential franchise player but I cant say he's an actual FP until he WINS.If 3 years from now Irvin hasn't made the playoffs yet I don't think anyone...
To me a franchise player has to win 1st.Not just love but I personally would not call anyone a franchise player until they WIN.Maybe I'm just the russian judge but thats my standard for any player.
Has there been any D.smith talk in here.B4 his injury(groin)that had him out almost all of last year he was playing at a pro bowl level for the Jags.It would be a sneaky good pick up IMO!
Garnett would immediatly add intensity to our huddle and especially our practices that this team has never seen and needs desperately and IMO 9 times out of 10 that intensity spills over onto the...
I agree 100%.
My biggest concern now though is 2/3's of that cespool is back 2gether again.Remember before the Kahn era Flip, taylor and Mchale were the three making all the calls(b4 we fired...
