Nice one Mets
He did lol possibly back in high school
It was f***ing 8-2!
Ike has been awful so far but he did this last season and still ended up with 30 odd home runs for the year he is so frustrating though he looks beaten before he has even faced a pitch when he is in...
That's what worries me lol
Does Collins pull Niese out now? Really struggled through that inning, our bullpen worries me though this game isn't over by any stretch not to sound pessimistic or anything lol
Exactly, no team in their right mind would offer up big in a trade knowing that he could walk for free the following off season, the Mets would be resigned to having to accept a hugely undervalued...
Not sure I can take the Man U part of all that, but welcome all the same lol
I agree 100% with what you are saying right there, getting to know and understand your teamates takes time, from that comes trust and internal predictability which equals chemistry
The longer the Wright thing drags out the more likely it is that he will look to leave, if that looks to be the case the Mets stance in any type of potential trade deal will weaken by the day as...
I would say keep, but only as a middle reliever or set up man, he's not a closer
1. Location: Victoria, Australia
2. Favorite Current Net: Deron Williams
3. Favorite past Net: Jason Kidd
4. Other teams in other sports you root 4: Mets, Jets and Newcastle United
5....
Hmmm, doesnt quite give you the wow factor but he adds some depth
Thats a really interesting site, some good stuff on there
Keep, he can still do a job for this team
I voted keep but as some have pointed out in this thread, there may not be a spot for him the starting rotation, what are his chances of being a part of the pen next season? He might give us some...
Hard to say where this guy fits into the team but what about Valdespin? Was fairly spasmodic but did some ok things at times
Our man Bobby Parnell?
It looks pretty ugly tbh, the Wilpons wont up the budget, we are going to be stuck with nowt next season, another 60-70 win season coming up, and thats being optimistic
Considering how long it took to get the first no hitter lol, I will have a stab in the dark and say Wheeler, I think he is going to do well for us
Man that just looks wrong! Prime candidate to blow that arm out big time one day
Ah, the days of dial up, dedication though from you my friend driving around just to get a decent signal, living in Australia I pretty much never see games, I have to rely on my MLB audio sub so I...
One of the beauties of hindsight drafting, everyone has a 100% strike rate :)
Sometimes you need to take a step back to move forward.[/QUOTE]
And you would be happy for those steps back to involve trading Davis and Niese? Only for our steps forward to involve trying to...
No I dont, I think our needs go a fair way deeper then that, but it would be even deeper if you take out a Jon Niese and an Ike Davis
