Not really buying that argument because the only player to win a ring after playing under PJ was Shaq. Neither Jordan or Kobe won a ring without PJ.

I think Rudy Gay does a good job on LBJ.
I figure they'll write to the beat of the drum. They are just bitter right now.
Yes, they expect Tim to run a one man show, obviously. I wish they would do some good ol' fashion journalism and actually try to chase down leads about the head-hunting company and who the candidates...
You could also point to Rudy's usage in Memphis being detrimental to his play. His type of skill set doesn't fit with what Memphis wants to do on offence.

So it does look like we are heading in the direction of a new GM that isn't PJ...
Really why I said that is because I don't think Zeller is a good overall prospect. So IMO as well, the names I listed would all be BPA over Zeller. There is no doubt in my mind that Zeller is no...
That's what Valanciunas is, no? I'd rather one of MCW, McCollum or Shabazz around the 9th range. We need some scoring off the bench.
He probably only lost like 15lbs, which on his frame looks like a lot. He is young so his metabolism probably hasn't slowed yet. But man, he looks like at least a 5-6 year project.
Not very high on Zeller, Length + Athleticism renders him inert. Which is the baseline of any starting NBA C.
There is so much wrong with this post. Rookies are long term investments. Bargnani was gone for most of the season and we actually played better without him in case you don't remember. Bargnani isn't...
Would not trade Derozan for the 9th pick in this years draft.
I'm pretty sure the city is done with him, and he the city. It's just time to part ways, he's not going to see another minute in a Raptors uniform. Either by amnesty or trade, he's gone. If we could...
Nerlens Noel weighed in at 206lbs...
Valanciunas almost unanimously has Barnes beat in major statistical categories. FG%, FT%, PER, WS/48, Rebounding, TS%, Rookie of the month x1. Drummond & Val are even so you can count them as 5a & 5b...
If we could flip Bargs into a late 1st I'd be pretty happy.
Pretty much this. Besides, we had Amir Johnson who was a better/more likeable version of Ed Davis.
Honestly, I like Devlin's persona but as a play by play guy I'm indifferent. All he really does is say the players name, & he often misses the play and makes his call too late.
I don't see how you can make a case for Drummond over Val.
Bargnani + Lowry S&T for Jennings would be the deal I would want. No need to complicate things by adding Sanders Gooden, & Ross.
As a Canadian I don't see it but I can understand how an American can see it as a better move. IMO they aren't more attractive than us.
I agree with the whole 1st team except for Barnes. Cases can be made for Valanciunas & Drummond over him. Also think Zeller shouldn't be on the second team, I'd substitute Harkless for Zeller.
I vaguely remember some DET fans talking about firing Dumars. I can totally see PJ being brought on as a full time FO guy in Detroit. Considering that Brian Shaw is being linked to DET in coaching...
He should have made it over Barnes. I'm just happy that Drummond didn't make it over Val. That would have grinder my gears.
3 out of the top 5 Coaches of all-time went on to become GM and they have all had great success. Going from coaching to GM'ing is the same as going from playing to coaching so I don't think that...
