Bam!
This team is starting to click!!
Austin! Rally time
Let's wrap this thing up now!
Note to H. Bell: Hey Bell, games are usually closed in the 9th inning where you need to pitch like you just did in the 10th. Keep it up!
Regardless a win is a win!
:cheers: :dance::dance: :cheers:
Too bad he won't be available the next couple of games. The kid has stepped up huge so far this season.
Yes yes yes yes yes! Infante!
Cishek, you're in an inning too late. Damn you Ozzie!
Hey Stanton! You know the drill!
I would've liked the Marlins to call me for their closer role. I would've cost way less than Bell and have as many blown saves as he has.
No ***king way! I wonder if he'll still be the closer after this one.
Great pitching by Z and Cishek, and thank you Stanton you had 3 of the team's 5 hits (incl game winner)...
oh, and **** you Heath!
I'm out
Cishek has done an excellent job. He's won 3 games now. I'd go with him.
Way to go G! Good thing is there will be no more Bell in the bottom half!
Another good outing by Z gone to waste thanks to Bell.
I think the Marlins' woes date back all the way to last year. As a matter of fact, anyone recall how the Marlins started struggling after they swept San Francisco and Cousins had that home plate...
Finally back to back wins! Hopefully this is the start of a rally of some sort.
Happy New Years all!
I just saw in a Nicaraguan newspaper an article about the possibility of Vicente Padilla joining the Marlins. Padilla was clocked at 95 mph and says he's feeling great. When...
Damn! I really wanted Gio in and Nolasco out but it seems we did not have enough for him. I still hope Nolasco is out of the rotation next year cause I don't think we have enough pitching with him in...
Yeah, you're probably right. However I think Boston and Miami could work something out where Boston gets Bailey and Miami adds Gio while taking Nolasco (and his contract) out of the rotation
How about a scenario where:
Oakland gets
Chris Volstad + $2 MM (I read somewhere he projects to make $2.2 MM)
Brad Hand
Scott Cousins
Tom Koehler or Elih Villanueva
A pair of prospects from...
But I bet Fredi's gonna go with Nunez.
I'd say Brian Sanches for the ninth.
