Go look at Phoenix's team and farm. They have nothing in terms of offense presently and for the future besides Boedker. Trading guys like Rundblad & Gormley isn't going to bring in any huge return....

Well a true franchise Dman holds a lot more value then Coots alone. So, we'd be adding to him significantly. Having said that, Coots would have to be the centerpiece of any trade for a true franchise...

I personally wouldn't trade Coots+ for Shattenkirk. If we're trading Coots it should be for a franchise Dman. Shattenkirk is not that.
