Some names I'd look at:
Pavel Kubina
Dennis Seidenberg
Jordan Leopold
Dan Hamhuis
Huet(5.75), Crawford, and Sharp(3.9)
for
Thomas(5), Wideman(4)
That's really the only move that works cap-wise and I don't think I like it
Huet's not THAT bad, but contract is just terrible. The only reason the Bruins would do it is because his contract expires in 2 years as opposed to the 4 for Thomas.
No...
If you flop Satan and Paille that suddenly turns into and ultraslow line and that'd kill Sturm's game
I think if Bergy goes to wing, I'd rather see:
Lucic- Savard- Bergeron
Wheels- Krejci- Ryder
Sturm- Paille- Recchi ------->Recchi's speed would get exposed badly though
Satan- Begin- Thornton
There's no use in having him take all the center responsibilities, but play on the Wing... Taking faceoffs+playing below the circles? Might as well just keep him at C.
His faceoff skills are the reason I'd look to moving Krejci... Bergeron's one of the better faceoff guys in the NHL and one of the best defensive forwards.
Krejci's good, but not quite at...
I wonder why the Bruins haven't tried moving Krejci or Bergeron to wing.
Krejci played there successfully in junior and Bergeron played their VERY successfully already at the NHL level. You move...
2 goals for Zaripov tonight.
Where's that fool that copped out of the KHL sucks argument?
No you wouldn't.
Yea I was thinking deadline.
It gets us a guy who can score goals and has proven chemistry with Bergy/Sturm, as well as a veteran backup G.
It gives St. Louis a long-term goalie.
The Bruins only have Chara, Wideman, and Hunwick signed past this season.
I'm hoping Hunwick is moved at the deadline for a 3rd rounder or so.
PRAYING that Morris is re-signed for 3-3.5M
Stuart...
I wonder if St. Louis would be interested in a Thomas for Boyes+Mason type deal
Get.
Over.
It.
Sounds stupid coming from the other side doesn't it?
Now come up with a legitimate argument. You can come up with one, right?
There's simply no way this is a real argument.
Malkin didn't even play an NHL game yet, so that was wayyyy out there. He was still under contract with his home-town team...
But going off your...
With Ference in the lineup were 26-13-7
Without him were: 1-9-4
I figured you didn't have the arguments to back up your claims. Care to try and come back from that.... Or should we all just agree that Alexei Kaigorodov is better than Malkin
Such a terrible argument.
The KHL simply caters to some players playing style.
During the lockout:
Pavel Rosa outscored Pavel Datsyuk
Alexei Kaigorodav outscored Evgeni Malkin
Alexei...
You're overrating Krejci pretty badly here.
You could probably get one of them+ a 2nd round pick or prospect
Krejci for Horton makes sense for both teams
I'm not expecting a huge move like Booth or Weiss.
Possibly Tkachuk, Poni, Whitney... I'm not expecting a big move and I hope to god Chia isn't stupid enough to give a 1st or 2nd for a rental.
Cherry hates dirty player.
It makes sense
