I think its the perceived lack of compassion you have, and comparing yourself (family in Cuba/Cousins that you have never met) to Soler, While we agree Soler was wrong, we can at least sympathize...

8 year for any pitcher is a huge risk, not sure I'd go there, option years maybe, but not a full 8 year contract

Man Starlin was young, he has already played 448 major league games and was younger than Baez is now when he broke into the big leagues.... and Baez is young from the A+ league he is in.....
